Greeter Falls
Last Sunday, August 15th, Jeremy and I hiked to Greeter Falls outside of Altamont, TN. The map above isn't entirely accurate because at the end of the hike, we got in a car and drove back to the starting point. It was a 7 mile hike before we got in the car. A little longer and a lot harder than our previous hike. The pace we went at was what made it challenging for me. Our guide does these things so much it felt like I was running to keep up.
The falls felt excellent and were worth the hike.
Cumberland Transit, an outdoors store downtown, was where we did the hike through. It was free to sign up and we made friends with another couple. It was exhausting, but I'm proud of myself each time I do something like this to test my physical limitations.
